Kristin Loewen

Kristin Loewen has always had a passion for singing and has been classically trained and singing high level classical music since she was 14 years old. She also has a large background in piano and musical theatre and has performed onstage with various groups such as Lighthouse Theatre, Ignite Theatre, Gallery 7 Productions, and Golden Ears Theatre. Kristin has been teaching voice lessons for the past 4 years from home, as well as at Creative Edge School of Arts and Mayday Club Youth Choir in addition to ACMS.

Kristin has specialized training in working with students with various special needs and aims to tailor all lessons to meet the individual needs of her students. She believes in creating a fun learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, express themselves and grow in their vocal ability.

Kristin teaches a range of styles including musical theatre, classical, pop, pop-rock and more. She focuses on teaching students healthy vocal and breathing techniques and has a passion for helping her students grow in confidence. Her goal as a teacher is to provide a caring and fun space where students can learn to harness their abilities and expand their voice!
