Kristin Loewen

Kristin Loewen has always had a passion for singing and has been classically trained and singing high level music since she was 14 years old. She also has a large background in piano and musical theatre and has performed onstage with various groups such as Lighthouse Theatre, Ignite Theatre and Gallery 7 Productions. She absolutely loves implementing various musical theatre techniques into her lessons and also likes to help students with audition preparation. Kristin is currently working towards her ARCT in Vocal Performance and has been teaching voice lessons for several years.

Kristin has specialized training in working with students with various special needs and aims to tailor all lessons to meet the individual needs of her students. She believes in creating a fun learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, express themselves, and grow in their vocal ability.

Kristin teaches a range of styles including musical theatre, classical, pop, pop-rock and more. She focuses on teaching students healthy vocal and breathing techniques and has a passion for helping her students grow in confidence. Her goal as a teacher is to provide a caring and fun space where students can learn to harness their abilities and expand their voice.
