Stan Gubiotti

Estanislau N. Gubiotti (Stan) was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He began his violin studies with private teachers and later enrolled at the Carlos Gomez Conservatory of Music in São Paulo. Mr. Gubiotti came to Canada and earned two Music Major degrees in Winnipeg, MB.

In addition to being a violinist, Estanislau is a mandolin player, singer, and classical guitarist. He teaches violin, guitar, mandolin and voice and free-lances with his violin, mandolin, and voice in solo, chamber, and symphony capacities. He has regularly performed with Symphony Orchestras in B.C. Mr. Gubiotti has participated in numerous recordings and traveled extensively in North America, Europe and Brazil, utilizing his numerous musical abilities.

Estanislau was the concert master for the Willingdon Church Orchestra in Burnaby for nearly 20 years and played for their Worship Band. He also taught at their Fine Arts Academy. In addition to teaching at ACMS, Stan will be pursuing his talent as a composer. He lives in Abbotsford, B.C. with his wife and three children.
